Subscription options
For FortiGate, we offer five subscription options:
1. Free for 7 days. This subscription includes only support renewal, it is intended for those who just need to update the device firmware. You can connect it an unlimited number of times as needed.
2. Trial for 14 days. This subscription includes the entire set of signatures, the WebFilter service. It is intended for trial testing by clients of our service. You can connect only once per device.
3. Advanced Thread Protection (ATP) subscription for 1 year. This subscription includes a set of signatures: Application Control, IPS, AV, Botnet, Mobile Malware, Outbreak Prevention, WebFilter service.
4. Unified Threat Protection (UTP) subscription for 1 year. This subscription includes a set of signatures: Advanced Thread Protection (ATP), Web and Content Filtering, Secure DNS Filtering, Video Filtering, AntiSpam, WebFilter service.
5. Enterprise subscription for 1 year. This subscription includes a set of signatures: Unified Threat Protection (UTP), IoT Query Service, OT Protocols Signature Service, Fortinet Security Fabric Rating and Compliance Monitoring, WebFilter service.

- Advanced Malware Protection: O Advanced malware protection that includes file behavior analysis, cloud-based technology to identify advanced threats, and prevention of attacks such as zero-day .
- AI Malware Detection Model: An artificial intelligence (AI)-based malware detection model that analyzes file behavior and network traffic using machine learning algorithms to identify new and unknown threats.
- AntiVirus Definitions: A database of virus and malware signatures. It is used by the antivirus engine to identify and block known threats.
- AntiVirus Engine:An antivirus engine that is responsible for scanning and analyzing files for malware. Works in conjunction with a database of antivirus definitions.
- Mobile Malware: Signatures and technologies aimed at detecting and blocking malware targeting mobile devices.
- Outbreak Prevention: A system to prevent the outbreak of new threats. This may include proactive measures such as blocking suspicious files and traffic before they are fully analyzed.
- Attack Surface Security Rating: Attack surface security rating. This service analyzes vulnerabilities and configurations, providing recommendations for reducing the attack surface (i.e. the number of potential entry points for attacks).
- IoT Detection Definitions: Definitions for identifying Internet of Things (IoT) devices. This helps identify and classify IoT devices on a network, which is necessary to protect them.
- Outbreak Package Definitions: Definitions to recognize new threat outbreaks. These definitions are updated frequently to quickly protect against new attacks.
- Security Rating & CIS Compliance: Security rating and compliance to CIS (Center for Internet Security) standards. This service analyzes security configurations and processes against best practices and standards.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Prevention of data leaks. This system monitors and prevents the unauthorized transfer of confidential information outside the organization.
- DLP Signatures: Data leak prevention (DLP) signatures. Include patterns and rules that help identify and block the transmission of sensitive information.
- Email Filtering: Email filtering. Includes protection against spam, phishing, malicious attachments and other email threats.
- Intrusion Prevention:Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). It monitors and blocks suspicious network traffic, preventing attacks and unauthorized access.
- IPS Definitions: Definitions for the IPS system, which include signatures of attacks, vulnerabilities and other threats. Updated to ensure current protection.
- IPS Engine: Intrusion prevention system engine. It analyzes network traffic and takes appropriate actions based on settings and definitions.
- Malicious URLs: Database of malicious URLs. Used to block access to sites containing threats such as phishing, malware, etc.
- Botnet IPs: A database of IP addresses associated with botnets. Helps block malicious traffic originating from or directed to botnets.
- Botnet Domains: A database of domains associated with botnets. Used to block traffic to these domains.
- Operational Technology (OT) Security Service: Security services for industrial and critical infrastructure (OT). These services help protect the operational technologies used in production and infrastructure systems.
- OT Threat Definitions: Threat definitions for OT environments. Include specific attack signatures targeting operational technologies.
- OT Detection Definitions: Definitions for detecting OT devices and systems. Allows you to identify and monitor industrial devices on a network.
- OT Virtual Patching Signatures:Virtual patching signatures that protect vulnerabilities in OT systems. These signatures allow you to apply protective measures without the need for immediate hardware updates.
- Web Filtering:Filters web content based on categories, allowing you to control access to sites and block potentially dangerous or unwanted resources.
- Blocked Certificates:List of blocked SSL/TLS certificates used to encrypt traffic. Blocks certificates that are considered invalid or used for malicious purposes.
- DNS Filtering:Filters DNS queries to block access to malicious domains. This feature protects users from DNS-level threats.
- Video Filtering:Filters video content on websites. Allows you to control access to videos depending on their content or source.
Important information
Automatic firmware updates do not work on devices. Firmware must be updated manually by downloading an update file.
Independence from Fortinet, when using our service, Fortinet will not be able to revoke your license or disable updates.
We try to give devices signature updates as quickly as possible, approximately once every 10 minutes, but there can be delays of up to 1 hour.
Firmware updates for devices are available on the website, they are updated regularly.
FortiGate Cloud Sandbox does not work.
FortiToken Cloud does not work.
FortiGate cloud management does not work.
Signature updates on devices are performed automatically.
WebFilter service works on devices.
